Small, powerful, and, above all, inexpensive strobe unit. Up to 150 meters operational.

Its creation required a small, powerful, and inexpensive flash unit with a replaceable 26650 battery.

STROBE 1 has two operation modes:

1. Auxiliary mode – continuous light with a light output of 1000 lm, which can be used as a flashlight for illumination.

2. The main mode – flash with light strength of 2500 lm with the sequence: 5 flashes/pause / 5 flashes

STROBE1 works with a gradual decrease of power in both modes. You can count on about 6 hours of flash operation or 2.5 hours of continuous light operation. It can be powered by one 26650 rechargeable battery (the HI-MAX 26650, 4000 mAh, PCB battery was used in this case to measure the given operation time). STROBE1 has a rotary switch: OFF / continuous light 1000lm / flash 2500lm. Its operation is facilitated by the “shifter” added to the rotary ring, which can be felt in wet as well as dry gloves.

The maximum operating depth of STROBE1 is 150 m. This is guaranteed by the use of two nitrile O-rings, the first of which is additionally equipped with an anti-corrosion substance for the use of STROBE1 in chemically aggressive environments. High light output, small size, very low weight, and the possibility of replacing a depleted battery with a charged one as well as two operating modes make STROBE1 a useful companion for divers who appreciate high light output in a compact size.
